Scrub a Dub - Handmade Natural Organic Soap

Soap is lovingly handmade using traditional process method in small batches. Shea and Coconut Butter's, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, are nourishing moisturising and softening. Home distilled Floral Water's and the all important Essential Oils. They give gentle yet effective cleansing, they are not drying to the skin.
Soap comes wrapped in a natural organic unbleached muslin square which can be used a as a face/body cloth, house hold cleaning cloth, alternative to cotton wool, can be washed and re used. I like to spend money on the ingredients not on fancy packaging, so ensure it can be recycled or re-used.

I use many local ingredients such as Basil, Honey, Lemon Balm, Calendula, Mint, Lavander and Rosemary. I distill my own floral waters from the plants using a traditional copper still.

When buying ingredients from abroad I ensure they are truly Organic and Fairtrade, for example Shea butter from Ghana from a well established Ladies project.

I never use Palm Oil in Soap as I believe it could have a negative effect on the rain forest. I feel that it is generally included as it is a 'cheap' ingredient there are much more beneficial oils for skincare.

Large manufacturers of Soap generally remove the super moisturising vegetable glycerine from the finished bars for use elsewhere, this leads to the belief that Soap is harsh and drying to the skin. Try one of our Shea butter soaps to feel the difference!! Please e-mail for further details.
